PROTECTION (first thing when your bag is new)

The 1909 Wax spray contains valuable waxes and oils that give smooth and enriched leather a boost of nutrition. In addition this spray works to repel water and dirt. You can use this supreme wax spray on our smooth, grained, matt textured leather and also on suede. 

Use this on pure, structured, croco mat and suede

Do not use this spray for our laqué, metallic and shiny croco leather.

If you clean your bag first, this spray will be your last step. 

Our products are already treated against moisture and dirt, but it's still necessary to keep your handbag clean to make them last longer.

When you’re not using your handbag, keep them in their dust bags. Also, to keep the shape of the bag, try to fill it with some paper during the off season.

Repair

Our bags are made to last. That’s why it’s necessary to take care of them.  A broken buckle, loose stitching … can for sure be fixed. Please go to one of our shops or send an e-mail to shop@miekedierckx.be with some information about your repair. Depending on the nature of the damage, we can repair your product. 

Once the repair arrived in our Flagshipstore in Westerlo we’ll take a look at the repair.  Depending the nature of the damage and the date of purchase we will calculate costs for repairing and discuss them before taking further steps.Most cases are under warranty (expect toxic damaging ). Most of our repairs will go to our production team in Portugal, to maintain the same finishing . As a result, the repair time is at least 5 weeks.
